Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Scaffold Builder to join our staff located at Franklin VA. They must be able to construct assemble maintainâand dismantle scaffolding or other temporary structures. Other duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Erecting and Dismantling Scaffolding
• Supporting Mill Operations
• Collaborating with Maintenance Teams
• Other duties as assigned.

• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

• Experience 2 years experience in industrial or manufacturing environment specifically within Pulp or Power operations.
• The ability to read write and speak English
• Must be a self-starter and meet mill and department objectives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers License
• Meet physical demands as listed above
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work overtime weekends and holidays as needed by the assigned location
