A vacancy has arisen within our COT Division based in Biggleswade for a Sales Manager Portable Power Products.
The role contributes to the success of Liebherr GB by developing the market and the customer base for portable power products in the Uk and Ireland. Through a pro-active sales approach it will drive profitable revenue for the COT division of the organisation. Reporting to the Managing Director - Sales the role will deliver profitable sales through effective market penetration and market share development whilst working within the Companys key result areas; Business Performance Customer Focus People and Teamwork Leadership.
Your responsibilities as a Sales Manager
Business Performance
Achieves annual sales targets for the Liduro product range
Coordinates effectively with the marketing team to develop strategies that deliver significant market awareness
Negotiates well with customers to ensure maximum benefit for LGB
Reviews the processes for Liduro sales with the aim of improved effectiveness and efficiency
Strategically identifies where the business could be represented in terms of exhibitions conferences and sponsorship deals and in conjunction with the MD creates effective plans to execute these opportunities
Collaboratively develops ongoing plans to achieve strategic goals on an annual basis.
People and Teamwork
Builds on current relationships with LED so as to achieve maximum technical logistical and commercial factory support
Supports the MD and other colleagues within the LGB team
Willingly shares knowledge and actively assists in the development of all team members
Customer Focus
Maintains solid and effective relationships with all customers and maximises retention through regular communication and prompt follow up to problems
Regularly reviews customer satisfaction information and establishes plans for improvement
Leadership
Takes the initiative with regards to sales activity and manages own time effectively
Contributes to the overall management of the COT business and actively assists in providing transparent management information
The successful candidate will require the following
Proven track record in sales management in a relevant industry
Able to demonstrate a passion for sales coupled with excellent results
Outstanding communication skills
Team Player
Flexible approach to work
Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
