As a Product Manager in Marketing Data Platforms you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground you guide the successful launch of products gather crucial feedback and ensure top-tier client experiences. The Marketing Data Platforms (MDP) team is dedicated to enriching and activating audiences across multiple communication channels. We drive omnichannel personalization to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and empower our internal paid media team with advanced tools for measuring media performance and optimizing investments.
This role will be responsible for driving discovery sessions gathering technical requirements and coordinating integrations with key partners such as Personalization & Insights (P&I) Marketing Connect and various activation endpoints. The Product Manager will own the project plan and timeline ensuring seamless end-to-end audience activation and supporting our target state architecture.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns maintains and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the products key success metrics such as cost feature and functionality risk posture and reliability
- Lead Discovery & Requirements Gathering:Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to identify business needs and technical requirements for the Marketing Data Platforms.
- Integration Management:Oversee new integrations with Personalization & Insights (P&I) Marketing Connect and activation endpoints to support omnichannel personalization.
- Project Coordination:Develop and manage detailed project plans and timelines ensuring alignment across all systems and teams involved in audience activation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:Partner with internal teams including paid media engineering and analytics to deliver solutions that enhance customer experience and media performance measurement.
- Platform Strategy:Contribute to the target state architecture and roadmap for the Marketing Data Platforms supporting ongoing innovation and scalability.
- Performance Optimization:Equip internal teams with tools and insights to measure and optimize media investments.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle design and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value management
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of product management experience ideally in marketing technology data platforms or digital personalization.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and technical integrations.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing audience activation and campaign execution.
- Excellent communication organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed complex organization
- Familiarity with customer data platforms personalization engines and performance measurement tools.
- Experience working with internal marketing & technology teams and external vendors.
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable project plans.
