The Lead Infrastructure Engineer is a senior-level professional responsible for leading and overseeing the design implementation and maintenance of the organizations infrastructure systems. They provide expert guidance mentorship and technical leadership to the team ensuring the companys infrastructures reliability scalability and Duties and Responsibilities: Leading the design and implementation of complex infrastructure solutions including network architecture server configurations storage systems and virtualization technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative collaborating sessions with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient infrastructure sessions with cross-functional teams to review performance analysis capacity planning and optimization of infrastructure systems to ensure high availability and and maintaining security measures to protect infrastructure systems from potential threats and and optimize cloud-based infrastructure services like AWS or Azure to ensure cost-effectiveness and infrastructure deployment configuration and monitoring processes using tools like Ansible Terraform or collaborating sessions with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure-as-code practices and ensure seamless deployment and continuous up to date with emerging technologies industry trends and best practices in infrastructure management and recommending improvements to enhance system performance and other assigned job-related duties that align with our organizations vision mission and values and fall within your scope of : Education: Bachelors Degree or relevant experience. Computer Science or Computer Engineering Certification(s): Any relevant IT Certification. Experience: 5 years of relevant and practical experience in infrastructure management network administration or system Skills: Proficiency in scripting languagesExtensive experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or knowledge of security protocols and best Skills: Mentoring: Mentoring and coaching of junior and mid-level Thinking: Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities for infrastructure -solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities for complex infrastructure Alignment: Aligning technical solutions with long-term business -functional Collaboration: Working effectively with various departments and Resolution: Addressing and resolving team conflicts and technical Development: Developing the skills and capabilities of team members.
