Votre mission si vous lacceptez :

Une offre de stage intitulée AI for technical Data & Illustrations vient de souvrir au sein de Airbus Commercial sur son site de Toulouse.

Vous rejoindrez le département Technical Data une organisation transnationale de plus de 2 000 collaborateurs à travers le monde en charge de la conception de la production et du support des différents manuels de maintenance indispensable aux compagnies aériennes. Vous ferez partie de léquipe Maintenance du future une équipe de 13 personnes chargée de préparer et concevoir lavenir de la Technical Data.

Votre stage consistera à concevoir et développer des solutions dintelligence artificielle en lien avec les illustrations techniques telles que celles présentes dans lAMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual) et lIPC (illustrated Part Catalog). Vous développerez des compétences à la fois technologiques (notamment en IA) et métiers (fonctionnement de la technical data) pour préparer lavenir de ce secteur clé indispensable à lexploitation et à la performance des avions en service.

Ce stage dune durée de 6 mois débutera idéalement en Mars/Avril (cette période est indicative et pourra être ajustée).

Vos principales missions consisteront à :

• Explorer les dernières avancées en intelligence artificielle (notamment en IA générative) pour identifier des solutions innovantes appliquées aux illustrations technical data
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes business afin de clarifier le besoin et identifier des opportunités dinnovation.
• Développer et mettre en œuvre des modèles dIA notamment en computer vision mais aussi Large Vision Models (LVM) et Large Language Models (LLM)
• Évaluer les performances des modèles
• Participer au développement des démonstrateurs permettant de visualiser et mettre en valeur les concepts étudiés.

Votre tuteur ou tutrice vous accompagnera tout au long de votre stage vous aidant à développer vos compétences et à atteindre vos objectifs professionnels.

Vous êtes actuellement en 5ème année décole dingénieur avec une spécialisation en IA science de la donnée ou mathématique appliquée ou un domaine équivalent.

Vous possédez idéalement les compétences suivantes :

Compétences techniques :

• Algorithmique et langage de programmation (Python C C)

• Connaissances des libraries : PyTorch TensorFlow Sickit

• Connaissance et expérience en LLM (Large Language Models)

• Une appétence pour les mathématiques appliquées : optimisation

Your mission :

An internship opportunity titled AI for Technical Data & Illustrations has just opened at Airbus Commercial located in Toulouse Saint-Martin.

You will join the Technical Data department a transnational organization of more than 2000 employees worldwide responsible for the design production and support of various maintenance manuals essential to airlines. You will be part of the Maintenance of the Future team a 13-person team responsible for preparing and designing the future of Technical Data.

Your internship will consist of designing and developing artificial intelligence solutions related to technical illustrations such as those found in the AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual) and the IPC (Illustrated Part Catalog). You will develop both technological (particularly in AI) and business skills (technical data operations) to prepare for the future of this key sector essential to the operation and performance of aircraft in service.

Ideally this is a 6 months internship and it should start in March/April (date subject to flexibility).

Your main responsibilities consist of :

• Exploring the latest advances in artificial intelligence (particularly generative AI) to identify innovative solutions applied to technical data illustrations
• Working closely with business teams to clarify needs and identify innovation opportunities.
• Developing and implementing AI models particularly in computer vision but also Large Vision Models (LVM) and Large Language Models (LLM).
• Evaluating model performance.
• Participating in the development of demonstrators to visualize and showcase the concepts studied.
• Your tutor will support you throughout your internship helping you develop your skills and achieve your professional goals.

You are preparing a diploma level Bac5 in engineering school with a specialization in AI data science applied mathematics (or equivalent).

You possess the following competences:

Technical Skills:

• Algorithms and programming languages (Python C C)

• Knowledge and experience in LLM (Large Language Models)
• An interest in applied mathematics: optimization
