About The Department:
The Department of Undergraduate Nursing (DUN) faculty are an innovative energizing group of nurses that are consistently looking for unique and pioneering methods of educating our future nurses. The DUN has a pre-licensure program and a baccalaureate completion program that offer a solid broad-based nursing perspective technology-enhanced and society-focused curricula. DUN uses simulation that offers enhanced student preparation for the nursing profession. The learning environment encourages intercollegiate collaboration enhancement of teaching skills innovative use of technology and professional scholarship opportunities. The rank of assistant or associate professor is assigned based on academic and practice qualifications at the point of hire.
