You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies (SIGS) at the University of South Florida (USF) invites applications for a 9-month full time and tenure-earning Assistant Professor position beginning on August 7 2026. The teaching load is two courses per semester (four courses per academic year).Salary is negotiable.
The School seeks a broadly trained scholar in peace studies whose research adopts an innovative approach to the major challenges of a declining liberal international order. We especially welcome applications with research interests that fall in one or more of the following areas: Conflict resolution peacebuilding environmental sustainability nuclear non-proliferation proxy war ethnopolitics mass migrations and third-party mediation.

The minimum requirement for this position is adoctoral degree from an accredited institution in political science government international studies or international affairswith a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching academic research and service. Applications from individuals who are ABD will be accepted but the degree must be conferred by the time of appointment.Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
