We are currently looking for a:

Offshore Installation Methods Engineer


Mission & Task

Within the department (bidding technical support) or as part of an integrated project team you will be responsible for developing the technical documentation required for the offshore installation of structures taking into account client specifications vessel/barge capabilities and site feasibility.

You will cover the following areas:

  • Pipelines (J-lay and reel-lay)
  • Risers (single or multiple)
  • Spools and jumpers
  • Subsea structures
  • Flexibles and umbilicals
  • Floaters (e.g. FPSOs) moorings buoys and offloading lines

You may also be involved in supporting teams working on the installation of platforms pipelines (S-lay) and offshore wind turbines (fixed or floating).

You will interact and coordinate with all of the clients departments (Design Operations Assets Procurement Subcontracting and Bidding) from engineering to execution phases.

You will be responsible for providing technical support onboard vessels during the execution phase of offshore operations.


      Qualifications:

      • You have an engineering degree (from a top engineering school or equivalent) ideally with a background in general engineering production or construction.
      • You have experience in the construction or offshore industry with roles such as Onshore/Offshore Project Engineer Construction Engineer Marine Works Engineer or Offshore Design Engineer.
      • You have at least 7 years of industry experience ideally including multiple on-site assignments.
      • You are eager to work in an international environment have strong communication skills and are flexible and adaptable to transition from formal processes to field execution.
      • Fluency in English is essential.
