Job Description
Location - Ayr Hospital
Grade & Speciality - Consultant General Medicine/Gastro
Dates - 12 December to 9 January 2026 initially
Rota - Monday to Friday 0900-1800
Details - Based in station 9 Gastro/GIM plus emergency bleeders caring for 24 patients.
Station 9 16 Hours Vetting with onward referral or ATR 4 Hours Bleeders 8 Hours Routine endoscopy plus admin 4 Hours Inpatient referrals 2 Hours Station 12 day cases 2 Hours
Total 42.5 hours worked over Mon-Fri

Essential Requirements
- Valid GMC Registration with full Licence to Practice
- Right to Work in the UK
- Minimum 6 months of medical experience in this role or a similar role within the UK
