Job Summary
Trainee Fall Protection Engineer
Standard hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Time and a half for any hours outside of these times (evenings early mornings weekends)
Flexibility is essential some nights away from home weekend work and night shifts will be required

NSS Group is offering an exciting opportunity to train as a Fall Protection Engineer within our NSS Testing division a team that inspects services and maintains essential height safety systems nationwide.
Were looking for someone whos comfortable up high hands-on and ready to learn a specialist trade with fantastic long-term potential.
What Youll Do:
Service maintain and repair fall protection equipment such as:
Fall arrest and life safety lines
Eyebolts (fall restraint and abseil)
Guardrails gantries walkways and ladders
General lifting and access equipment
Highlight and report any further remedial works needed
Ensure all work complies with British Standards and Health & Safety regulations
Support other teams across the business where required
Who Were Looking For:
- Previous experience working at height (roofer rope access scaffolding etc.)
- Good communication attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Full driving licence
- Smart professional and safety-conscious
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
