OCU Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to join the team based in Nottingham.
As the Project Coordinator you will support the planning execution and delivery of telecom projects such as network installations upgrades and service rollouts. This role ensures effective coordination between cross-functional teams vendors and clients while tracking project progress managing documentation and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
Your roles and responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day activities for telecommunications projects (fibre wireless data and voice systems).
- Support project managers in scheduling resource allocation and task assignments.
- Track project milestones deliverables and budgets escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including work orders progress reports and change requests.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders vendors and clients.
- Assist with procurement of equipment materials and subcontractor services.
- Ensure compliance with telecom industry regulations safety standards and company policies.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients.
- Provide administrative and technical support during project lifecycle.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
You will need to have proven experience in project coordination preferably in the telecommunications industry with knowledge of telecom infrastructure (fibre optics wireless networks VoIP etc.)
As well as:
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Strong organisational multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
