What Were Looking For

If youre a self-motivated and detailed oriented individual seeking work-life balance and a team-oriented culture YOU can be our next Senior Client Service Representative as a part of our Employee Benefits Division.

You will work with clients to address inquiries and manage information regarding employee benefits coverage and administration. This position is based out of our Downtown Vancouver Office.

Requirements

  • An LLQP and Life License (or willing to obtain within six months of start)
  • Five years of experience in the employee benefits industry in a client facing role
  • A GBA RPA or CEBS designation or actively pursuing
  • A Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders
  • An intermediate or advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication both written and oral
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

A Day in the Life

  • Youll be working with insurance carriers and clients to resolve benefit inquiries challenges and claims issues
  • Youll advocate for the client and ensure prompt and thorough handling of accounts
  • Service clients proactively anticipating and addressing their needs by keeping them up to date with relevant information
  • Manage new client implementation and plan transfers including master application and employee enrolment documents
  • Handle plan amendments including pricing requests and employee communication bulletins
  • Prepare and attend client meetings - follow through with action items in a timely and concise manner
  • Deliver employee benefits administration training and employee education sessions to clients
  • Review and deliver to clients group insurance contracts and booklets from insurance carriers
