Job Description
Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU is seeking a Dishwasher / Steward to join our team. Located in the heart of downtown Tempe our hotel features 330 guest rooms 36000 square feet of event space and four exciting food and beverage outletsincluding a rooftop restaurant with sweeping views and the citys largest ballroom. We are looking for dependable hard-working individuals to support our culinary and banquet operations by keeping our kitchens and service areas clean organized and running smoothly. We are looking for someone with full availaibility across days and shifts.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes cookware utensils and equipment according to Omnis sanitation standards.
- Break down banquet and outlet trays in an efficient and timely manner.
- Deliver clean wares to outlets banquet areas and meeting spaces as needed.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
- Properly store all items in their designated areas.
- Assist with banquet setup breakdown and back-of-house organization as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend stretch and reach frequently.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous stewarding dishwashing or kitchen support experience preferred.
*This position is a full-time on-site position with no work from home flexibility.
