Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment for patients of all ages. The therapist will help patients achieve their highest level of functional independence and integrate therapeutic skills into daily life activities all within the scope of their capabilities.
Key Responsibilities -
Evaluate plan and implement individualized treatment programs to increase patient functionality.

Utilize therapeutic activities to improve strength coordination range of motion and fine motor skills.

Educate patients and caregivers in adaptive techniques and the use of assistive devices for daily living tasks.

Provide consultation on environmental adaptations positioning and splinting to prevent contractures.

Conduct home assessments and recommend modifications to ensure safety and accessibility.
-
Document evaluations treatment plans and progress reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Provide therapy for neurological and sensory integration including cognitive and perceptual-motor programs.

Deliver preventative care and patient education on energy conservation joint protection and safety strategies.

Facilitate pre-vocational programs and assess work readiness cognitive abilities and functional skills.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer patients for additional services as necessary.

Adhere to department dress code and maintain a professional appearance.

Attend mandatory trainings and departmental in-services.

Check and respond to emails regularly; attend at least 75% of team meetings.

Follow organizational policies and ethical standards.

Participate in department quality improvement (QI) initiatives.

Positively represent the organization in the community and among patients.
Qualifications -
Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (required)

Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain (required)

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)

BLS certification (preferred)

Mathematical Skills: Apply basic statistical and mathematical concepts to clinical documentation and treatment planning.
