Job Summary

Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Critical Care (Night Shift)

Location: Utica NY 13502

Duration: 13 week contract

Shift: 12-hr Nights

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $2232 $2448; (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit
Perform assessments develop individualized care plans and deliver interventions
Monitor patients for changes in condition interpret hemodynamic and telemetry data and act rapidly in emergencies
Administer medications titrate critical drips and manage advanced equipment
Collaborate effectively with physicians respiratory therapists and other team members
Educate patients and families on procedures treatments and recovery
Document care in the EMR accurately and promptly

Requirements:

Experience: 2 years of experience required. Fresh heart experience is Required.
EMR Experience: EPIC required.
Licensure: Active New York RN license.
Certifications (All Required):
- Current AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Strong critical thinking prioritization and communication skills.
