Job Summary
Registered Nurse Nurse Manager (Day Shift)
Location: Arlington TX 76000
Shift: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage surgical services operations and nursing staff.
- Ensure delivery of safe high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure best surgical practices.
- Monitor and improve performance metrics including patient satisfaction staff engagement and quality indicators.
- Participate in budgeting staffing and strategic planning processes.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to the surgical nursing team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Licensure: Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact state.
- Certifications:
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
- CNOR certification preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of acute care leadership experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience at the staff level in the Operating Room.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in surgical nursing.
