Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Hayward CA
Contract Type: 17 Weeks (with potential extension up to 1 year)
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Monday Friday
Pay Rate: $50/Hourly
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team on a contract basis. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that help patients improve mobility function and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Conduct therapeutic exercises functional activities and mobility training with patients.

Monitor and document patient progress reporting updates to the Physical Therapist.

Educate patients and families on exercises and activities that support rehabilitation goals.

Maintain patient safety during therapy sessions and ensure proper use of equipment.

Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications

Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.

Current California PTA license (or eligibility).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Prior experience in skilled nursing acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Excellent communication interpersonal and patient-care skills.
