Role: Azure Cloud Engineer
Duration: FTE
Location: Richmond VA
Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Azure Cloud Architecture to design implement and optimize scalable secure and costeffective cloud solutions
Job Description
Service Level definitions Evaluate current SLAs and corresponding metrics collection reporting mechanisms
NFR Mgmt procedures Review processes for capturing validating and tracking nonfunctional requirements NFRs for parameters such as performance scalability saturation etc
Team readiness Assess skillgaps and coaching requirements
Design and develop robust Azure cloud architectures aligned with business requirements Evaluate and recommend cloud solutions focusing on scalability security and performance Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate Azure services effectively Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to ensure modern cloud implementations Provide technical expertise in cloud migration and deployment strategies Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards in cloud implementations Support the foundation for CloudOps including process standardization and automation to improve operational efficiency Participate in cost optimization initiatives by applying FinOps principles and tooling strategies Drive initiatives for process upliftment TOIL elimination selfservice enablement and noise reduction to enhance operational excellence
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead architecture design sessions and provide expert guidance on Azure cloud solutions Develop and maintain architecture documentation standards and best practices Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements leveraging Azure services Mentor junior team members on Azure architecture principles and practices Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues Participate in capacity planning and cost management efforts for Azure environments
