Job Summary

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Franklin LA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Haas VF7 SL20 manual lathe horizontal mill gear hob broach machine and FDM 3D printing. You will be responsible for setting up programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components.

Set up and operate:

Haas VF7 & SL20 CNC machines and software
Builder Extreme 2000 FDM 3D printer & Simplify3D software
ACRA-Turn 530 21 x 60 lathe
Kingston HL-1500 lathe
Kingston KMT-5V mill
Barber-Coleman gear hobbing machine
Fellows 6A Type gear shaper
Richards Machine Tools No 25 keyseater
Hines HC500 horizontal rotating balancer

Responsibilities:

Program and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision parts.
Perform machining tasks using lathe mill gear hob and broach machine.
Utilize 3D printing technology for prototyping and production.
Inspect and verify finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Utilize Quality Management System process and familiar with ISO 9001.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist CAM experience preferred
Proficiency with Haas VF7 SL20 lathe and mills
Experience with FDM 3D printing and slicing technology
Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret CAD models and technical drawings from SolidWorks
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
