The Anesthesia Technician assists anesthesiologist by setting up equipment and preparing medications. Additionally the incumbent orders stocks tests and maintains anesthesia supplies medications and equipment. The Anesthesia Technician also washes and sterilizes reusable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification and Licensing:

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge Skills and Attitudes:
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work evenings nights and weekends as necessary.
