Job Summary
Join IDEXX and help shape the future of veterinary diagnostics. Were growing fast and looking for an Associate Scientist to join our innovative Assay Design & Development team. If youre passionate about proteins assay development and working in a collaborative science-driven environment we want to hear from you!
What Youll Do:
Characterizing protein/antibody interactions and enzyme kinetics
Performing SDS-PAGE IEF and Western blot analyses
Supporting protein formulation and stability testing
Maintaining detailed records in electronic lab notebooks and presenting findings to cross-functional teams
Collaborating closely with scientists and cross-functional team members within R&D
Strong technical aptitude for lab work and documentation
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelors in Biochemistry Chemistry Biotechnology Molecular Biology or related fields (2-5 years of relevant experience in industry or academic lab)
Knowledge of protein expression and purification desirable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
Strong aptitude for learning new techniques with a problem solving mindset
Ability to run multiple workflows independently and communicate results effectively
