A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A QUALITY SUPERVISOR
As a Quality Manager you oversee the Quality department and all quality management system activities including managing internal and external audits training communication and documentation. While monitoring and reporting on processes and procedures you ensure that all customer specifications are satisfied. From the planning phase to completion you provide quality support to projects. You assist the production design and engineering teams by attending and participating in relevant meetings and integrating the quality management system into the company culture.
To ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies you perform regular inspections and reviews. As you maintain documentation you determine data-informed solutions and implement quality improvement plans. You find great satisfaction in helping our company maintain excellent quality for our clients!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a related field
- 5 years of leadership experience
- 10 years in Quality Role
- Experience with quality management systems
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Composite understanding is a bonus
ISO 9001-2015 lead auditor certification lean six sigma certification and ASQ certification are preferred but not required. Knowledge and experience in composite production and manufacturing processes knowledge of composite raw materials and knowledge of machines and tools are preferred but not required. WORK SCHEDULE FOR A QUALITY Manager
This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. This quality assurance position may require longer hours and weekend work.
