Our manufacturing client in Irwin PA is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist.
-Pull parts for production (kitting)
-Receive and organize incoming inventory
-Perform regular inventory counts
-Support shipping production customer service and quality control teams
-Youll also follow company policies maintain accurate records work safely and complete other tasks as assigned.
-Inventory & Material Handling
-Pull and return parts for production and machine shop projects and update records in SAP (ERP system)
-Receive parts from the shipping department and organize them correctly
-Provide needed parts to other departments to keep work flowing (e.g. Contract Services Media)
-Keep inventory accurate by performing daily cycle counts and reporting results
-Maintain proper documentation and organize packing slips for easy reference
-Customer Service Support
-Help prepare and ship spare parts for customer orders
-Manage and ship parts for service projects at U.S. satellite locations
-Prepare and send warranty parts with correct paperwork
-Quality Support
-Provide parts to the Quality department for inspection
-Keep inventory records accurate in SAP and ensure items are returned or sent where needed after inspection
-Perform quarterly audits of inventory in the Quality department
-Support closing of production orders and ensure correct process is followed
-Track inventory for preventive maintenance projects (Full Circle)
-Log all SAP transactions with material document numbers
-Enter data daily to keep cycle count records up to date
-High School Diploma
-Ability to lift 40 pounds and move items between shelves carts and counters
-Willingness to learn and help in other areas
-Ability to follow job and quality procedures (ISO standards)
