This Position reports to:
Quality Control SpecialistAs an intern you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABBs operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in Senatobia MS.
Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements.
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABBs operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
Assist in cleaning organizing and standardizing existing documentation within the Quality Management System.
Update and maintain the Master Document Control List ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform digital 5S activities to streamline document storage and retrieval.
Organize documents by type department and relevance and ensure they are saved in the correct folders.
Update existing documents to the latest approved templates and assign new document numbers following internal procedures.
Support the Quality Assurance Specialist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
Ensure proper version control and naming conventions are applied across all quality documents.
Collaborate with various departments to gather verify and update documentation as needed.
Learn and apply document control best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of documentation processes.
Gain exposure to ISO 45001 and 50001 standards and how documentation supports certification compliance.
Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in Industrial engineering Manufacturing Operations or related field in the United States.
Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipnow and in the future.
Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
Collaborate with team members to convey ideas share information and provide updates on project progress.
