At DTU Wind and Energy Systems you will break new ground at the absolute forefront of what is possible with remote sensing with application for wind energy.
Responsibilities and qualifications
Your overall focus will be to strengthen the departments competences within remote sensing for wind energy. You will work with nearby colleagues and with both academic and industrial partners in Denmark as well as abroad. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Using automotive lidars for detection of wind turbine blade deflection
- Development of efficient ways to analyze the automotive lidar data
- Develop the technology to become attractive for commercial partners
- Develop research applications of Doppler wind lidars
- Supervise MSc student projects and co-supervise PhD students
- Apply for funding within remote sensing for wind energy
As a formal qualification you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
Starting date is1 November 2025 (or according to mutual agreement). The position is a full-time position. The period of employment is one year.
