This Position reports to:
Service ManagerAt ABB were shaping the future of energy smart safe and always on. And you can play a crucial role in it! Within our Electrification business area were looking for two Field Service Engineers to keep our uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems in top shape for clients such as data centers and high-tech companies.
UPS Uninterruptible Power Supply systems that ensure everything keeps running even during a power outage. Think: server rooms hospitals high-tech other words: mission-critical work.
What will you do
After completing our in-depth internal training (yes well fully prepare you) youll start working independently as a certified UPS Engineer. Your work will be varied and impactful:
Install and test new UPS systems
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring safe and efficient operations
Provide technical advice and occasional training to customers
Contribute to building a modern customer-focused service organization
Already have experience in the UPS world Great! You wont be starting from scratch your expertise is more than welcome and there will be plenty of opportunity to deepen it.
What do you bring
A vocational (MBO) diploma in electrical engineering or electronics (UPS experience is a plus)
A structured precise work style and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Strong customer focus communication skills and professional demeanor
Fluent in Dutch and English; proficient in MS Office
A valid drivers license (B) ideally living in the south or east of the Netherlands
Flexibility for working hours including 24/7 on-call shifts approx. once every 6 weeks
A valid VCA VOL certificate (or willing to obtain one)
Willingness to travel in the NL BE LUX region and occasionally internationally
