This Position reports to:
R&D Department Lead
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)In this role you will have the opportunity to lead and represent Research and Development (R&D) operations to achieve the agreed R&D targets. Each day you will ensure delivery of R&D results to enhance ABBs position and profitability while supporting global R&D management in developing technology and footprint strategies. You will also showcase your expertise by fostering effective and trust-based cooperation with other local R&D operations.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Serving as the key technical entry point and high-level discussion partner for the country/region regarding technologies addressed by the local R&D organization.
- Supporting in the development of medium and long-term strategies deriving consistent local strategies and targets and implementing them in the local organization.
- Planning capacity people and resources for R&D projects and manages conflicts efficiently.
- Staying on top of strategic technology customer and market developments to provide guidance in local areas of responsibility.
