We are looking for a Sr. Staff Controls Engineer to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies.

Location: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose CA

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design implement and test control algorithms for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to define requirements.
  • Optimize legacy code for performance safety and maintainability.
  • Support validation and verification processes including HIL/SIL testing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows and tools.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of MATLAB and simulation environment
  • Experience with data analysis in Python or MATLAB
  • Experience with C/Python software development and embedded coding
  • Experience with version control software GitHub/GitLab preferred
  • Experience in developing model predictive control
  • Experience in porting algorithms to embedded systems and optimizing code
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced production-oriented environment
  • Understanding of diagnostic techniques for system components
