We are looking for a Sr. Staff Controls Engineer to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies.
Location: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose CA
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design implement and test control algorithms for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with cross functional team to define requirements.
- Optimize legacy code for performance safety and maintainability.
- Support validation and verification processes including HIL/SIL testing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows and tools.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of MATLAB and simulation environment
- Experience with data analysis in Python or MATLAB
- Experience with C/Python software development and embedded coding
- Experience with version control software GitHub/GitLab preferred
- Experience in developing model predictive control
- Experience in porting algorithms to embedded systems and optimizing code
- Desire to work in a fast-paced production-oriented environment
- Understanding of diagnostic techniques for system components
