JOB SUMMARY
The Northeastern University is looking for a highly organized proactive Project Manager (PM) to support and manage executive priority marketing initiatives. The PM functions as a key partner and trusted collaborator to the team and Vice President for Marketing ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of assigned projects and executives operations. They will proactively support all daily business administrative responsibilities for the VP and manage the workflow of executive-level projects and others as assigned.
Key responsibilities include:
Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project execution including resource allocation budget management timeline development and quality control. Monitor progress manage deadlines and communicate status to VP in a timely manner
Executive Support: manage the VPs calendar prepare expense reports and draft communications and presentations
Communication: Serve as a point of contact between executive teams internal teams and external stakeholders
Operational Efficiency: Improve workflows streamline processes and ensure the executive is poised to work most efficiently
Prioritization: Set priorities and executing strategies for projects ensuring alignment with departmental goals. Identify urgent issues triage incoming requests and protect executive time.
Meeting Management: Organize agendas capture key takeaways and drive follow-ups.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
This position is in-person on the Boston campus. Some out of business hours work may be necessary on occasion depending on needs and priorities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of experience in executive support and planning organizing and directing the completion of strategic projects for large organizations while ensuring goals are met
Well-earned reputation as an organized pragmatic problem-solver with the ability to anticipate needs think critically and operate with a high level of diplomacy and professionalism
Ability to handle and manage many activities at once with grace and effective prioritization
A successful track record of working effectively and delivering results in a highly matrixed and fast-paced organization
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Agile thinker and executor with keen foresight who can pivot effortlessly
A self-starter who can take the lead when necessary
Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-disciplinary team
An unwavering spirit of optimism collegiality curiosity and humility
Experience in higher education is not needed nor is it desired.

$75210.00 - $106230.00With the pay range(s) shown above the starting salary will depend on several factors which may include your education experience location knowledge and expertise and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
