What does a Senior Producer do at Hogarth
We are seeking an experienced and client-facing Senior Producer to join our growing team in Amsterdam on a freelance basis for 6 months with the possibility of continuation. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the end-to-end production of video content from concept to delivery. The Senior Producer will be the central point of contact for clients and internal agencies ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest creative and quality standards. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking meticulous organization strong leadership and excellent communication skills. You will be instrumental in shaping our projects and fostering strong relationships with both clients and our talented creative and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Production Leadership: Oversee a portfolio of high-profile complex projects ensuring alignment with company vision and strategic goals. Drive process improvements for efficiency and quality across all productions.
Senior Client & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and nurture strong long-term relationships with key clients at the executive level. Lead high-stakes presentations negotiations and proactively identify growth opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development: Build out lead mentor and inspire a team of producers fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Support their professional development and act as a key hiring manager.
Business & Financial Stewardship: Focus on new opportunities and lead the scoping/budgeting for new business development projects. Ensure the financial health and profitability of the production portfolio.
Creative & Quality Assurance: Champion creative excellence and innovation ensuring all productions meet the highest quality standards and push creative boundaries.
Reporting line:
This role reports to theExecutive Producer Copenhagen/Amsterdam.
Requirements:
5 years of experience in production with at least 3 years as a Producer or equivalent senior leadership role within a top-tier production company.
Demonstrated track record of successfully overseeing and delivering a diverse portfolio of large-scale high-impact film productions.
Exceptional strategic thinking problem-solving and business acumen including expertise in financial management and contract negotiation.
Superior client relationship management skills with experience engaging and influencing C-suite stakeholders.
Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
