We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Head of House (Boys Boarding) to play a pivotal role in leading and supporting our boarding community. This is a residential position that requires both strong leadership and a genuine commitment to student wellbeing.

About the Role

As Head of House you will:

Provide day-to-day leadership within a vibrant boarding community
Act in loco parentis ensuring the wellbeing safety and development of students
Build strong supportive relationships with students families and staff
Mentor supervise and roster residential boarding staff
Oversee the administration of records routines and activities
Promote a positive and inclusive boarding culture aligned with the Schools ethos
Liaise with parents responding promptly and professionally to enquiries
Assist in organising events activities and promotional initiatives
Ensure facilities are safe comfortable and well-presented

About You

To succeed in this role you will demonstrate:

Experience in student care residential life or pastoral leadership
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively across a diverse community
Organisational skills and the ability to manage administration with accuracy and efficiency
Sound judgement problem-solving skills and resilience in managing sensitive matters
The ability to foster teamwork mentor staff and build morale
A flexible adaptable approach suited to the dynamic nature of boarding life
