Job Summary
On-site Internship in Marlborough MA.
This hands-on position provides a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge methods at the interface of cell biology and bioprocessing. You will contribute to cell culture biopreservation and post-preservation analytics while working closely with an interdisciplinary research team. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to technologies with relevance in biopharmaceutical and cell therapy applications.
What You Will Accomplish Together With Us:
- Maintain and culture cell-based systems under defined laboratory protocols
- Apply and evaluate preservation methods across different model systems
- Independently design and perform recovery and functional quality assays post-preservation assessing cell quality and function
- Record analyze and communicate experimental findings in a clear and organized manner
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to support ongoing research projects
What Will Convince Us:
- Pursuing or recently completed a B.S. or M.S. in Cell Biology Bioengineering Developmental Biology or a related life sciences field
- Hands-on laboratory experience with cell culture and assay development in an academic or industry setting.
- Familiarity with standard cell viability or characterization techniques. With the ability to select and apply appropriate assays for viability proliferation and functional quality.
- Ability to systematically design and execute experiments document results and communicate findings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to experimental reproducibility.
- Collaborative and proactive mindset with curiosity for innovative research.
