We are currently looking for a Payroll Analyst II to join our team in Mexico City. This role supports payroll operations and system functionality ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across the organization.
A Day in the Life:
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian payroll policies taxation and wage orders
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve system issues and implement process improvements
- Analyze payroll audit reports and manage problem tickets for timely resolution
- Document payroll processes and develop reconciliation procedures
- Support payroll processing and system operations including coverage during team absences
Who Were Looking for:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state organization (2000 employees)
- Strong knowledge of payroll calculations reconciliations and audit procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and English communication
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Desired:
- Experience with PeopleSoft
- General understanding of payroll tax regulations and wage orders
- Accounting experience
- Strong analytical and customer service skills
