Our SPG (Storage Product Group) tools development team develops cutting-edge hardware and software platforms to support the design validation and testing of SPG products. Our work enables high-performance and reliable memory solutions for a wide range of applications from mobile devices to automotive systems.

We are looking for highly talented passionate and versatile candidates that can work on the next generation managed memories solutions.

During the internship the student will work on FPGA System on Chip.
In particular the candidate will analyze possible solutions to support the implementation of the PCIe Gen4/5 switch in FPGA technology.

Responsibilities

• Define the PCIe switch topology
• implement the transaction and data link layer
• adapt the FPGA phy to work as PCIe physical layer
• design and manage the configuration space and global address space

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters degree in electronic engineering computer engineering or equivalent is required
• Experience in VHDL/Verilog and C programming
• Familiarity with Zynq or Versal AMD families
• Familiarity with AXI bus and PCIe protocol
• Familiarity with logic analyzers oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with embedded systems
• Good English knowledge (spoken and written)
• Action-oriented and organized
