Job Summary
Cedar Park Group is hiring a skilled and safety-conscious Concrete Form Helper for ongoing projects in the Syracuse area. Were looking for dependable tradespeople with hands-on experience in concrete work who are ready to contribute to a fast-paced team-driven construction environment.
Schedule/shift:
MondayFriday 6:45am 3:30pm
Position Overview:
As a Concrete Form Helper youll assist in pouring floating and finishing concrete as well as working with forming systems like Symon panels. Youll support concrete operations across various job sitesprepping forms securing panels and ensuring safety and accuracy in all phases of concrete installation. Work includes setting the forms removing them and repeating the process.
Responsibilities:
Pour float and finish concrete surfaces
Accurately measure using a tape measure
Assist in pinning connecting and locking form panels (Symon or similar)
Set and strip concrete forms on-site (repetitive cycle)
Load unload and stage construction materials
Follow site safety protocols and instructions from supervisors
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Work effectively outdoors in varying weather conditions
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in concrete or masonry construction (prior formwork experience highly helpful)
OSHA 10 certification required
Familiarity with Symon forms or similar systems preferred
Physically fit: able to bend stoop walk stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
Full PPE required (hard hat safety vest boots gloves eye protection)
Must have reliable transportation
Safety-focused and team-oriented attitude
