Location: 128 Rainier Ave S Renton WA 98057
Salary: $30 - 33 per hour (compensation is negotiable based on license experience and skills)
Schedule: Full-time4/10s Monday - Friday no weekends closed for 1 hour lunch break
Additional Compensation:
$1500/year Continuing Education (CE) Allowance

Qualifications:
Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Washington or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire
2 years of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Passion for working with animals and their owners
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
Understand the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
Exam room skills include obtaining accurate histories obtaining vitals brief exams client education and financial conversations
Dental Experience including charting scaling polishing dental radiology
Skilled in IV Catheter placement venipuncture urinary catheter placement applying casts bandages and splints
Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation monitoring aseptic technique pre-operative and post-operative care
Laboratory skills including in-house lab equipment ear and skin cytology set-up and interpretation
Diagnostic experience including digital radiology dental radiology and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis
And all other duties of a Licensed Veterinary Technician as allowable by law
