Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving storing processing and dispatching cargo so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Our extensive experience connections and deep expertise across different sectors industries and transportation modes means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.

Manage and coordinates activities of workers in processing shipments inventory orders and all needs of the assigned account.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
  • Reads production schedule customer order work order shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size type style color or product code.
  • Fills requisitions work orders or requests for materials tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arranges product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
  • Position is full time and on-site.

Responsibilities

Leads a group of 10 employees in the warehouse operation. Responsibilities include ability to lead motivate and direct team efforts while informing department supervisor of problems or potential problems that require immediate attention.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay:
$17-18/hr

Schedule:

2nd shift Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am
