As a Training Manager you will be responsible for designing implementing and managing training programs for employees clients operators and maintainers working on signaling communications and train control systems. This includes ensuring compliance with federal regulations developing technical training materials capable of supporting modern rail infrastructure and safety systems. Key Activities - Design and deliver training programs for modern railway signaling systems (e.g. CBTC) various communication systems operations systems and other advanced monitoring systems used for railway operations.
- Develop course materials assessments and certification pathways.
- Maintain and upgrade training simulators for hands-on learning.
- Ensure training programs meet the Clients Specifications FRA FTA and other regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation for audits and compliance.
- Lead classroom and field-based instruction.
- Mentor and evaluate trainees including task-based assessments and performance reviews.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for continued improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop training material.
- Develop electronic and advanced training modules.
- Coordinate with external partners and clients.
- Represent the training programs in cross-functional initiatives and expansion projects.
- Promote a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Engineering Education Safety or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 510 years of experience in rail signaling communications or training.
- Strong communication and teaching abilities
- Technical proficiency in signaling systems and electronics
- Project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in field environments
