Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Water Wastewater Engineering Specialist to join our Water/Wastewater division in Charlotte NC. STV specializes in the planning organization and development of engineering activities for the construction and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities include:
- Production of contract documents including plans and specifications
- Perform pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.
- Perform pump calculations and develop system curves for sizing pumps.
- Water and Wastewater treatment process engineering and design support.
- Prepares construction and design cost estimates.
- Develops project specific specifications.
- Perform engineering duties in planning and designing electrical water and wastewater pipelines pumping storage and treatment systems.
- Responsible for or willingness to learn project management client interface and business development of future projects.
- Makes site visits during design and construction to inspect the electrical construction installation.
- Review construction shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents.
- Part-time is optional for this position.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
- Experience or specific course work in water and wastewater systems is a plus.
- Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT) or the ability to complete in the first 6 months.
- Ability to work and communicate well will other design disciplines.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience withAutoCAD ArcGIS is a plus.
Compensation Range:
