Police Officers serve a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of the Anna community. Responsibilities include patrolling city neighborhoods enforcing local and state laws responding to calls for service conducting investigations and making arrests when necessary. Officers also assist with traffic enforcement respond to motor vehicle accidents and complete detailed reports. A strong emphasis is placed on building positive relationships with residents and promoting a sense of trust and partnership within the community.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by the successful completion of required Police training programs.
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a drug screen criminal background check MVR check and any other verification required by the Anna Police Department.
License or Certification- Must possess a current and valid Drivers License
- Ability to possess and maintain a validTCOLE license
