Position Summary
To help create a stress-free transition by settling in and personalizing the resident into their new home.
Essential Functions
- Polite and respectful to residents.
- Unpack boxes.
- Communicate with residents regarding placement of their belongings dishes clothing linens etc.
- Make helpful suggestions when asked regarding placement of belongings and/or furniture.
- Clean and dust furniture as needed and time permits.
- Clean mirrors and glass as needed and time permits.
- Show resident their storage area and parking space when asked and necessary.
- Place work orders when needed.
- Answer any questions and/or direct to the contact person when asked.
- Dispose of all boxes paper and trash at the end of the move.
- Report resident total working hours on worksheet for monthly billing
Competencies
- Dependability punctuality creativity enthusiasm affection flexibility and patience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
- Sensitivity to the needs interests and abilities of residents with varying cognitive levels.
