The Role:

Reporting to the Manager of Operations the Group Lead (Supervisor) is responsible for leading and developing a team of production associates while ensuring safe efficient and high-quality operations in the mixing filling and packaging of chemical products.

In this role a typical day will look like:

• Lead and inspire your team by supervising coaching and developing production associates throughout the shift.
• Ensure product excellence by conducting precise laboratory testing of finished goods following established work instructions.
• Keep operations on track by monitoring production processes through hourly and daily management systems.
• Solve challenges by troubleshooting equipment issues and escalating when needed to maintain smooth production flow.
• Champion safety and quality by enforcing plant safety standards and always ensuring ISO compliance.
• Drive performance and results by tracking team metrics using data entry and analysis tools to identify opportunities for improvement.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Associates degree or 4 years of leadership experience in manufacturing industrial operations or related production environments (chemical manufacturing preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access Excel Word); knowledge of Oracle ADP OBIE a plus.
• Availability to work flexible schedules including nights and may include occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
