The Position
Support the development and execution of optimal price and access strategies for theHumanPharma (HP) Business. Engage with external stakeholders as required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the development and execution of optimal price and access strategies to achieve the price-access balance that supports the OPUs commercial goals
- Maintaining relationships with key external Market Access stakeholders (e.g. payers Government officials industry associations patient advocacy groups)
- Strong understanding interpretation and anticipation of market changes
- Provide pricing reimbursement and pharmacoeconomic information to relevant internal and external stakeholders through in-depth knowledge of pricing reimbursement and pharmaceutical policy decisions.
- Prepare the aligned and compliant Market Access activities and processes (including launch price and price change approvals and data management in BIPTrack Launch Tracker etc)
- Participation in cross-functional teams as required
- Act at all times within the local pharmaceutical standards/ ethics
Requirements
- Bachelors degree and/or post-graduate qualification in pharmacy epidemiology health economics or economics biostatistics
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the market access or marketing role in the pharmaceutical companies
- Working knowledge of local pharmaceutical market policies particularly with respect to pricing and access is required
- Work closely with the Key Account Team on the Market Access Policies
- Experienced on developing the pricing strategy Patient Support Program and/or HTA (Health Technology Assessment)
- Experienced in Specialty Care Therapeutic Areas (e.g. Oncology Rare Disease etc.) is a plus
- Fundamental understanding of pharmacoeconomic
- Strategic & Analytical thinking with commercial acumen and ability to communicate complex topics.
- Good interpersonal written and oral communication skills
- Fluent English communication
