Location: Tallahassee FL 32301

Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate skilled and reliable Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic medical-surgical oncology this role you will care for ill injured and recovering adults using a patient-centered care model. Youll collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and have the autonomy to make clinical decisions and assessments in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and document comprehensive patient health data and history
Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and expected outcomes
Advocate for patients well-being as part of the interdisciplinary team
Provide education to patients and families regarding medications treatments and procedures
Actively promote and ensure patient safety at all times
Utilize time equipment and resources effectively and efficiently
Support patients and families throughout their stay with empathy and professionalism

Requirements:

Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience is required
- Acute care experience is strongly preferred but candidates with LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) experience will be considered
Licensure & Certification:
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida or eligible to obtain before start
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is preferred at hire and required within 6 months
Education:
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is preferred
