Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team in a permanent capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This role requires strong technical expertise patient care skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Operate MRI equipment and monitor patient condition throughout the scan.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and submit for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Required Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification:
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT(R)(MRI) certification required
- MRT License from the State of Texas
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience: Previous MRI experience.
