Job Description
Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager (Agile SDLC Enterprise Software Public Sector Preferred)
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid -Local to AUSTIN AREA ONLY)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications- Skilled in managing projects with implementations across large organizations including developing and managing project plans documenting risks issues and contingency plans.
- Ability to research gather assemble correlate and analyze facts; devise solutions to problems; and prepare concise reports.
- Experience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts ensuring business requirements are translated into technical specifications and guiding/facilitating the SDLC process.
- Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders. Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
- Ability to appropriately summarize and escalate issues develop and present status updates and conduct regular project team meetings.
- Ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Agile methodology experience including overseeing and tracking development progress and ensuring project assignments align with timelines.
- Experience managing projects with feature-driven sprints.
- Experience leading and driving multi-million dollar software and IT projects.
- Experience implementing and using agile methodologies and best practices for one or more State of Texas Agencies.
- Prior experience in healthcare or public health.
- PMP Certification.
- Lead and manage complex IT/software projects across large organizations ensuring successful delivery within scope timeline and budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives requirements and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including risk issue and contingency management.
- Facilitate and guide the SDLC process ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Monitor and track project progress conduct status meetings and report updates to project sponsors and stakeholders.
- Promote collaboration among cross-functional teams in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Apply strong analytical skills to identify evaluate and resolve complex project challenges.
- Ensure adherence to Agile principles driving feature-based sprints and timely delivery of project milestones.
