JOB TITLE: Military Vehicle Mechanic - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Fort Bragg NC
PAY RATE: $26.57/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Conduct routine inspections; use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults.

• Perform oil changes fluid checks filter replacements lubrication; maintain service records.

• Repair/replace engines transmissions brakes axles suspension; perform overhauls as needed.

• Troubleshoot and repair lighting ignition charging systems; replace batteries alternators wiring.

• Inspect rotate replace tires; perform alignment and balancing.

• Maintain/repair brakes steering lift mechanisms; replace seals hoses fittings.

• Provide mobile repairs and vehicle recovery in remote environments.

• Follow safety protocols wear PPE and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Maintain tools/equipment; track parts usage and assist with inventory

Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance required to start

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred

• Experience as a vehicle mechanic (military or civilian)

• Knowledge of diesel/gasoline engines hydraulics and electrical systems

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Valid drivers license; CDL or military license may be required

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
