*This is a Full-Time position in our St. Petersburg FL Corporate Office.
What You Will Do
As a member of the finance department you will assist the team in multiple areas within both fund and management company accounting. You will report directly to a Director of Accounting and assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reporting general ledger accounting treasury and accounts payable as well as other operational tasks including the following:
Responsibilities
Assist with both fund and management company accounting audit budgeting forecasting and tax functions.
Assist with the month-end closing process for the management company including preparation of balance sheet reconciliations flux analyses and other monthly analyses.
Monitor and maintain monthly AP vendor booking in Workday general ledger system.
Monitor and initiate treasury transactions in banking system and Workday general ledger system.
Responsible for the preparation of month-end financial statements.
Assist with external audits functions for funds and the management company.
Assist with monitoring and reporting on fund assets performance and flows data on a regular basis.
Prepare / assist in producing financial results/reporting for management and the Board of Directors/Trustees.
Who You Are
You are highly motivated team oriented and eager to learn.
You have 2-5 years of relevant experience working in relevant accounting and financial reporting roles audit experience is preferred.
You have an undergraduate degree in Accounting Business Administration or similar discipline. CPA license is a plus not a requirement.
You have strong technical skills sharp intellect and problem-solving skills.
You are capable of implementing and effectively using technology (MS Excel Workday GL system automation and robotics tools).
You have strong written and oral communication skills and can articulate effectively.
You enjoy working in a collaborative transparent and diverse environment.
