Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: As the Sr. Manager Manufacturing Engineering you will provide strategic leadership for the Manufacturing Engineering function ensuring operational excellence compliance and innovation. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers partner cross-functionally with senior leaders and drive scalable processes that enable world-class product quality efficiency and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mentor and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Lead sustaining functions for CNC Programming and Machining Clean and Sterile Pack Coating department Metal Finishing and Distribution
• Maintain capacity planning models in all key processes
• Align departmental objectives with business priorities and track performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage resources and priorities across multiple projects to support production and new product launches.
• Ensure compliance with FDA ISO and other applicable global regulations and standards.
• Partner with R&D Operations and leadership to integrate manufacturing input into product design and development.
• Drive process development prototyping validation testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes using lean principles and data-driven methods.
• Build and manage vendor/supplier relationships to ensure quality cost effectiveness and scalability.
• Oversee departmental budgets capital planning and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Champion Enovis values and behaviors in every aspect of leadership and decision-making.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Biomedical Electrical or related); Masters preferred.
• Strong experience in CNC Programming CNC Machining and Additive Manufacturing
• 7 years of progressive engineering experience; 5 years leading teams.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab).
• Solid foundation in advanced engineering mathematics and physics.

Desired Characteristics:

• Solid foundation in advanced engineering mathematics and physics.
• In-depth knowledge of medical device regulations including FDA (21CFR820) ISO 13485 MDD CMDR.
• Excellent communication skills able to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
