The Opportunity

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is looking a Licensed Truck & Trailer Technician.

You will work with an experienced team of Technicians doing diagnostics and repairs on MACK and/or VOLVO heavy-duty trucks. Providing excellent customer service is our top priority. We hope you will share that passion.

SIGNING BONUS: of up to $2500 for Licensed Truck and Trailer Technicians

This is a unionized position:

  • Licensed Truck and Trailers Technicians are paid $39.29 per hour
  • Pay increases every November
  • Tiered pay rate for Apprentices

What youll do

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of heavy-duty trucks by testing the trucks systems and components
  • Drive the vehicle for testing purposes

What youll need

Qualifications

  • Apprentice or Licensed Truck & Trailer Technician
  • Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
  • Be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Must be able to use power tools and common hand tools to perform work
  • Able to sit stand kneel or crouch for extended periods of time
  • Work individually and as part of a team
